Our stay was sweet as, but the room was a bit small and the breakfast could've included more variety. The shower was a real standout, heaps good!

    delicious breakfast
    great local dining
    small room
    limited dining options

We discovered some cracking dining options nearby like the Red Skye Restaurant, which was a lifesaver on a Monday! Breakfast was top-notch, especially the full Scottish—hit the spot and set us up for our adventures. Plus, Kate's hospitality was simply delightful!

The room was a tad snug, but with the view of sheep and a cozy vibe, it felt just right. We truly enjoyed waking up to that scene every morning.

My stay at Creag Dubh Bed & Breakfast was delightful! Kate, the host, warmly welcomed me and ensured I felt at home. The breakfast was homemade and delicious, and I appreciated the delightful homemade shortbread available. The room was spotless and everything you needed was at your fingertips, like bottled water and a small bottle of whisky for those late-night cravings. The breakfast was filling, with fresh fruit and options chosen the night before, ensuring you’re fueled for the day ahead.

There was only one en suite shower room, which didn’t close properly, causing a bit of a hassle for my family. If you’re planning a stay, be aware that dining options require a bit of driving. many places were closed on the Monday night of our stay, and you'll need to make reservations if you want to avoid disappointment. some of the local restaurants might not be as up-to-date with their hours, so planning ahead is essential.

I loved my stay in the Twin Room with Sea View! The room was spotless and had everything I needed, including comfy beds and bottled water. Waking up to views of the sheep pasture was such a treat. Kate even left homemade shortbread and whiskey for me. Breakfast was filling and delicious, truly sets you up for the day. Would have loved to stay longer!

Warmly welcomed by the lovely hosts, the stay was enhanced by the charming garden views. The breakfast was hearty, catering to various tastes, and I appreciated the thoughtful touches like DVDs for entertainment. While the location is peaceful, it requires a car for outings, so keep that in mind.
